I love to paint outside, as often as is possible in New England. When the weather doesn't cooperate, I paint still lives or remembered landscapes in my studio. I'm drawn to the coastal scenes around me on the south coast of Massachusetts, but find there is something wonderful to be seen nearly everywhere I go.
I primarily paint in watercolor and gouache. As a life-long learner, I have had the great good fortune to study with several wonderful painting teachers, including Michael Lyons, Bill Lane, Sam Allerton Green, and Judy Vilmain, and have attended workshops with Gary Tucker, Anne Wert, Marcelo Daldoce, Uma Kelkar, Michael Reardon, Marc Folly, and Daniel Marshall.
